Varsity girls celebrated their championship season at the volleyball program banquet on 12/10/24.

Congratulations to Kaycie Burdick on winning the 49ers Cal-Hi Sports Girls Volleyball Player of the Year!

Foothill (NorCal Champions) lost to Palos Verdes (SoCal Champions) in the CIF State Girls Volleyball Division 1 Championship Finals on 11/22.  Congratulations to the team on a fabulous season, winning the EBAL and CIF NorCal Division 1 Regional Championship titles.

Congratulations to Kait Vogel on receiving the CIF STATE Volleyball Sportsmanship Award at the State Championship Finals match on 11/22.

Congratulations to the following Foothill players on earning their All-League honors!

Foothill will travel to SoCal to play Palos Verdes in the CIF State D-1 Championship Finals at 6:30 PM on Friday, 11/22.  

Foothill (#5) defeated Redwood (#6), 3-1 in the Finals of the CIF State NorCal Regional Championships (Division 1) tournament on 11/19 and advanced to the State Finals match at Santiago Canyon College, Orange on Friday 11/22.

Foothill (#4) lost to James Logan (#3), 1-3 in the NCS Championships (Open Division) 3rd place match yesterday and finished 4th in the NCS Playoffs.

Huge congratulations to our senior captain Kaycie Burdick on her selection by TV30 as the Tri-Valley Sports Final Athlete of the Week !!

During this past week, Kaycie (62 kills, 6 service aces and 39 digs) led the Falcons in defeating Amador Valley, Carondelet and San Ramon Valley.  With these victories, Foothill repeated as the EBAL Champions for the 2nd time in two years.

Foothill (#1 Valley) defeated San Ramon Valley (#1 Mountain) 3-2 today and won back-to-back EBAL titles in two consecutive years.

Foothill defeated Carondelet (3-2) in the EBAL Championship Semi-Finals tonight and advanced to the Final on Saturday.

The Falcons (#1 Valley) will travel to play at San Ramon Valley (#1 Mountain) at 2 PM on Saturday (10/26) in the EBAL Championship Final.

Congratulations to these student-athletes on their wonderful 4-year volleyball journeys in the Foothill Volleyball Program !!!!

JV Girls went 5-0 today without dropping a set and won the 2024 Livermore High School Roundup Volleyball tournament.  Congratulations!

Varsity girls went 4-0 today without dropping a set and emerged as the 2024 Bay Area Classic Varsity Tournament Champions!  Congratulations!!!!

Varsity girls went 4-1 on Saturday and captured 2nd place in the East County Volleyball Tournament at Deer Valley High School.

The Fair Share voluntary donations for sports are truly appreciated since our athletic programs at Foothill are all self-funded and cannot run without the support of the community. Voluntary donations can be submitted at the FHS Webstore or a check in the amount of $425 can be delivered to the Foothill office (checks made out to Foothill High School with "Girls Volleyball" in the memo line).
