Girls Lacrosse

Girls lacrosse is a Spring sport and is a great opportunity for student-athletes to be part of a growing program.

Athlete Clearance Process

Students are required to have an up- to-date sports physical to be cleared for participation in athletics. In order to ensure this, please complete the following Athletic Clearance Process detailed on the website ASAP. The entire clearance process is completely digital. Please submit everything online and refer to the Foothill website for more information. Athletes will not be allowed to participate in tryouts/practice or games until they are cleared!

Tryout Dates/Times

February 2024

All tryouts are at the FHS Stadium. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check in. All players need to bring the following items to tryouts: water, cleats, mouth guard, goggles, stick, running shoes (not vans or converse).

Girls Lacrosse Donation to support the program

Foothill High School receives limited money to run our athletic programs.  It is up to each program to pay it's own costs via parent contribution. The donation for the 2023 season was $400.  This donation covers the essential costs of coaches stipends and referee/field costs.

You can contribute a donation following the steps below:

  1. Contribute via credit card on the FHS webstore. Find 'girls lacrosse' and enter $400 as your donation amount.  If you prefer to donate by check, you can write the check out to Foothill High School and put "girls lacrosse" in the memo.  The check would be turned into Kathy Young in the main office at Foothill.

Transportation and Volunteer Forms

We try to utilize carpooling for games as much as possible. Parents and guardians volunteering to transport students for sports events must complete the following:

  1. Transportation Form  (attach a copy of auto insurance declaration). Please drop off transportation forms at the FHS office window.
  2.  Volunteer Clearance (online submission)

Students driving themselves to/from sports events must fill out the Student Transportation Form  and attach a copy of their auto insurance. Please drop off at the FHS office window. Students may not drive other students.

**These forms take approximately 4 weeks to clear, please submit ASAP**

Finally, get a FasTrak Flex toll tag for carpooling lanes.
